DRIVER LICENCE / AGE REQUIREMENTS

Renter must have held a valid driving license for at least one year for renting vehicles from groups A-C and 3 years for renting vehicles from D-L groups.

International driving license required in non- roman alphabet.

The Renter must be: 21 years old when renting cars from A - C groups and 25 years old when renting from D-M groups

PAYMENT
For cash the renter should leave deposit depending on the car type and estimate length of rental. Deposit is not required for holders of the following charge (credit) cards: AVIS, American Express, Diners Club, Eurocard-Master Card and Visa.

Fixed value voucher need additional credit/charge card.

CURRENCY
Rates in EURO / rate of exchange at the time of return applies.
No currency restrictions.

INSURANCE
Insurance cover for third part liability is included in the basic rate if the vehicle is operated in accordance with the terms and conditions of the rental agreement.

CDW waives the renter’s responsibility for damages to the AVIS vehicle with exception of: under car body damages; scratches; driving under influence of alcohol or drugs; willful action or gross negligence, damages on tyres and wheel rims not caused by fire or accident; racing; training etc; written statement by police is not presented at time of check in. TP removes Renter’s financial responsibility in the event of theft of all or part of the AVIS vehicle in Europe with exception of Bulgaria. CDW and TP are mandatory. NON-WAIVABLE EXCESS: In the event of theft or damage to the AVIS vehicle an excess charge will be applied to the customer regardless of whether CDW/TP is accepted or declined.

Payable by the renter. Refueling charge 10.00 EUR

VAT
18% on total charge

SURCHARGES
Airport surcharge EUR 15.00

DELIVERY/COLLECTION
Free of charge within city limits where AVIS has a renting office. (Within city limits-free up to 30km) In any other cases charge of 0.50 EUR per km for A-C and 1.00 EUR per km for group D-M is applied.

ONE WAY RENTALS
International one way on request and one way fee as per loaded price.
No vehicles are allowed to cross border into Bulgaria - even if return in Macedonia
Entries to all other countries on request-only credit/charge cards accepted.

SPECIAL EQUIPMENT
Baby seat on request per rental EUR 15.00

LUXURY VEHICLES
Renting with driver only

Lost Registration Documents or lost License Number:
A fine of 50.00 EUR will be charged.

Lost Keys:
A fine applies depending of the key price quote by manufacturer.

Cross Border Rentals: Entries to all other countries only on request.
